Tuesday Trends: Nanny Cam snags Super

On Monday afternoon, a man accused of engaging in sexual acts with a dog, pleaded guilty to charges of bestiality in White Plains, N.Y.
According to Monday’s publication of theMount Vernon Daily Voice, Kujtim Nicaj, former superintendent of the Rye Colony Cooperative Apartments, pleaded guilty to burglary as a sexually motivated felony, and sexual misconduct.
Nicaj was caught by “nanny-cams” after he illegally entered the tenant’s residence. The images showed him repeatedly sexually abusing a tenant’s 15-month-old Labrador retriever back in February.
Janet DiFiore, the Westchester County District Attorney, acknowledged the tie between animal abuse and human abuse when she stated:
“This defendant engaged in behavior that is not only reprehensible, but was abusive to someone’s pet,”
“Taking advantage of a helpless animal is an act of depravity which has often been a predictor of violence against humans.”
Sentencing is scheduled for January 13.
